Jim Osterhaven

Dom's 21 years of food service experience includes being "Salesman of the Year" twice. He has represented major food brokers, like Fontini, where he developed business not only in restaurants, but in deli departments of chain and independent retailers.

As a manager of reps for a broad-line company, Dom broke all records in the Mid-West. As a rep, one of his success techniques was to pre-sell a certain number of accounts so he could deliver to the local distributor a built-in clientele that helped him get his line in the door. When presented the opportunity to join Superior Foods in 1999, Dom stated it was Jim Osterhaven's reputation of high integrity that persuaded him to come on board. When asked how he took a $5K territory to $3M in the first two years, he replied; "I ask good questions, listen to the answers, find solutions to challenges, and deliver what I say I will deliver when I say I will".

Dom wants his customers and potential customers to know it is his own integrity that he values most. He is hardworking, honest and wants to partner with customers to really understand their business, to help them become successful. He has ideas, services, and resources available to help them make money. He likes being part of a private company that doesn't answer to stockholders and is excited that Superior goes out of their way to provide outstanding, specialty products, and new, creative lines that go a long way to making a significant difference for customers. Dom is proudest of the company's integrity, the dedicated team behind every rep in the field, and Superior's willingness to take risk to move ahead of the competition.
