Mark has been in Food Service for over 40 years. Before he joined Superior 25 years ago, he was Maitre'd at Top of the Park in Traverse City where he served many very special customers including President Gerald Ford, Bob Hope and other celebrities; he worked for Win Schuler in Marshall as the Wine Sommelier and at both places learned at lot about restaurants and what makes them successful.

When Mark was asked what his customers appreciated most about himself, he replied, "I really know the products I sell. For example, there are eight kinds of lamb racks and I know how to help the chef decide which one is right for his restaurant. If they need something special, I will find it and get it to them ASAP. My customers see me as a partner, someone they trust as the 'go to guy' when they are in trouble. They know me as a center-of-the-plate, specialty consultant who really cares".

Fun facts: Did you know Mark still owns his first car? He said he is fanatical about cars, so that is another reason to give him a call if you need some quick information about your auto. Jill, his wife, helps Mark and his customers as a Sales Support Rep. He is the proud father of two sons.
